SPI’s 75^th Anniversary Golf Tournament
8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

SPI is proud to announce the SPI 75th Anniversary Golf Tournament to kick off NPE2012 on Super Sunday, April 1, 2012. This is your opportunity to start the week hosting your clients, promoting your company and enjoying a day outdoors – and for a very special occasion … to celebrate the 75th anniversary of SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association. Profits will go to SPI's Future of Plastics Foundation and the Orlando charity IDignity.

The tournament will be held at one of the most prestigious courses in Florida — The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Golf Club on the award-winning North, South and East courses. Come and play the same courses used for the LPGA CME Group Titleholders Tournament last November.

The day begins with continental breakfast at the course with tee off promptly at 8:00 a.m. Following the round an awards luncheon will recognize the teams and individual winners.

The Golf Tournament is $250 per person. A four-some is $1000 and a two-some is $500. The fee includes:

Greens fees and cart
Continental breakfast
Refreshments on the course provided by SPI and sponsors
Awards Luncheon
Commemorative logo shirt and any giveaways from sponsors

Mulligans are offered at $25 each, maximum of two.

Whether you are a new NPE attendee or have been coming to the show for years, this will be everyone’s first time at the Orange County Convention Center! Come learn the lay of the land and start mapping out your plan of action for the week.

This event is open to all NPE participants and no separate registration is required. This brief orientation takes place immediately following the Brand Owner Super Session in the Chapin Theater.

SPI’s 75th Anniversary Opening Gala featuring the Hall of Fame Ceremony
6:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

This special gala not only celebrates the opening day of NPE2012 but also honors the Plastics Academy Hall of Fame inductees. A must-attend formal event! The Plastics Academy has been honoring industry trailblazers over the past century, and this year’s list of honorees deserves your support for contributing to your industry. SPI — the producer of NPE — will also mark a milestone anniversary as the association celebrates 75 years of advancing business opportunity for the plastics industry.

Keynote Speaker:

Jon Huntsman, Jr., former U.S. ambassador to Singapore and China and two-time elected governor of Utah. Governor Huntsman also serves on the board of Huntsman Corp., a global plastics and chemicals company established by his father, Jon Huntsman, Sr. The senior Huntsman was inducted in the Plastics Hall of Fame at NPE1994.
