Current roster includes 94 exhibitors advancing bio-based materials, compostable solutions, and the technologies that bring them to market
Washington, D.C. — NPE2027: The Plastics Show®, produced by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), is set to once again host the largest gathering of bioplastics companies in the Americas. As of July 20, 2026, 94 exhibitors across the bioplastics value chain will attend NPE2027, already surpassing the number represented at NPE2024. With exhibit space still available, the roster is expected to continue growing.
From polymer producers and material innovators to equipment manufacturers, additive suppliers, distributors and recyclers, the NPE2027 lineup gives attendees a view of how bioplastics move from chemistry to commercial-scale production. Companies will showcase materials and systems supporting applications across packaging, consumer products, automotive, medical, agriculture, building and construction, and other key markets.

Innovation Across the Bioplastics Value Chain
The current NPE2027 exhibitor list spans a wide mix of material and manufacturing capabilities, including:
- Bio-based and renewable-content polymers, including PLA, PHA, polyethylene, EVA, polyamides, thermoplastic elastomers, and cellulose-based materials.
- Biodegradable and compostable resins, compounds, masterbatches, colorants and performance additives.
- Processing technologies for compounding, extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming, drying, conveying and material handling.
- Recycling and circularity solutions designed to support recovery, reprocessing and responsible end-of-life strategies
Attendees will find bioplastics innovation throughout the show floor, including within the Materials Zone and Recycling & Sustainability Zone. NPE2027 will also introduce Sustainability Park, an immersive destination highlighting real-world sustainability solutions, and the new Packaging Stage, where experts will explore trends in materials, design, performance, and circularity.

Building on Award-Winning Sustainability
NPE2027’s expanded bioplastics presence is a reflection of the advancements in practical sustainability solutions across the plastics lifecycle. The show will build on NPE2024’s award-winning sustainability performance, which achieved a 100% diversion rate for plastics, cardboard and aluminum collected from the show floor and prevented more than 516,000 pounds of material from reaching landfills. The NPE Recycling Program will return in 2027 to collect and recycle plastic scrap generated by live demonstrations.
NPE2027 will take place May 3-7, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. More than 51,000 attendees and 2,200 exhibitors from over 130 countries are expected to participate. Attendee registration opens September 14, 2026.
