NPE Recycling Program
RECYCLE YOUR NPE2024 BOOTH’S PLASTICS SCRAP
Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) is offering a complimentary, full-service program to recycle plastic scrap generated during NPE2024. Plastic scrap is defined as plastic material manufactured on the show floor that features recycling codes 1 through 7 and needs to be repurposed.
“Sustainability at NPE2024 is a top priority. We’re committed to helping our exhibitors conduct their business in a way that drives value for society, the environment, and the industry.”
– Patrick Krieger, Vice President, Sustainability at Plastics Industry Association
SUSTAINABILITY BY THE NUMBERS
Join us in bringing together a strong economical waste reduction/recycling solution for NPE2024. It is our goal to show members, brand owners, show participants, media and the public the strides our industry is making in both the products we produce, as well as the methods our industry is taking to help us fulfill our PLASTICS mission of Zero Waste.

THE NPE RECYCLING PROGRAM
Free to participating exhibitors, the NPE Recycling Program is sponsored by Commercial Plastics Recycling (CPR), Conair and WEIMA. The program was enthusiastically embraced in 2015 and 2018, and we’re excited to watch it exceed expectations in 2024.
If your exhibit plans include generating large volumes of scrap, please design your booth space to include an area for collection container storage.
With your help, we can meet our goal: No plastic scrap generated during NPE2024 will be disposed of as waste.
SUSTAINABILITY AT THE OCCC
Sustainability is on full display both on and off the show floor. From recycling programs to pedestrian bridges to indoor vegetable gardens, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has one of the most innovative, large-scale sustainability programs in the United States.
