THE NPE RECYCLING PROGRAM
Free to participating exhibitors, the NPE Recycling Program was sponsored by Commercial Plastics Recycling (CPR), Conair and WEIMA. The program was enthusiastically embraced in 2015 and 2018, and once again in 2024.
Exhibits that generated large volumes of scrap included an area for collection container storage so that we could meet our goal: No plastic scrap generated during NPE2024 will be disposed of as waste.
Check back soon to find out if we succeeded!
SUSTAINABILITY AT THE OCCC
Sustainability is on full display both on and off the show floor. From recycling programs to pedestrian bridges to indoor vegetable gardens, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has one of the most innovative, large-scale sustainability programs in the United States.
