Before you submit

1. What you'll need to provide

  • Session title, abstract, and a clear description of your topic

  • Speaker information, including bio and role

  • Content track alignment, focus area, and preferred session format and location

  • Key takeaways or outcomes attendees will gain

2. What we're looking for

Strong proposals share four qualities:

  • Relevant, timely topics aligned to NPE2027 content tracks

  • Actionable insights grounded in real-world experience, case studies, or data

  • Forward-looking perspectives that address industry challenges and opportunities

  • Clear audience value with practical, take-home learning

3. Tips for a strong proposal

  • Define clear outcomes. What will attendees learn, and how will they apply it?

  • Anchor in real-world relevance. Lean on practical examples and current challenges within the industry.

  • Design for engagement. Build in discussion, Q&A, and shared perspectives.

  • Stay audience-focused. Align content to current needs in the plastics industry.

  • Keep it educational, not promotional. Avoid sales messaging. Focus more on insights and industry value.

4. Speaker guidelines

  • Sessions must be educational, not sales-driven

  • Content must align with one NPE2027 content track

  • All proposals are reviewed for quality, relevance, and clarity

  • NPE staff assign final track and setting, taking your preferences into account

  • Accepted speakers submit their PowerPoint in advance; details and deadlines provided upon selection

  • Sessions may be recorded for post-session replay; details provided upon selection

  • If selected, we'll work with you through scheduling, presentation templates, and on-site coordination

  • By submitting a proposal, you acknowledge that NPE2027 speaking opportunities are unpaid and that travel, lodging, and related expenses are the responsibility of the speaker. Accepted speakers will receive one complimentary Expo+ pass in appreciation of their contribution.
