Accelerated Innovation and Problem-Solving are at the Forefront of the Global Event
The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), producers of NPE: The Plastics Show, announced the program highlights for the industry’s largest trade show in the Americas.
Returning for the first time since 2018, NPE® will take place in Orlando, Florida from May 6-10, 2024, and will offer the plastics industry a global platform to see demonstrations of the latest machinery and equipment firsthand, meet with industry experts, and collaborate around some of the biggest challenges facing the industry.
With more than 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space and 2,000+ exhibitors spotlighting the latest technologies, equipment and machinery, materials, and processes across 7 distinct technology zones, including advanced manufacturing, bottling, robotics and automation, and flexible and rigid packaging, this is the can’t-miss show for the plastics and manufacturing industries.
The theme for NPE2024 is “Made For You.” From curated exhibit hall journeys to idea generation zones to rousing keynote speakers, NPE2024 is intentionally designed for leaders who want to understand the next big ideas, build meaningful partnerships, and accelerate business growth.
NPE2024 also features 7 Technology Zones which cover many of the industry’s most critical sectors and feature the insights, solutions, and services that are key to strengthening any supply chain. The zones consolidate their individual sector’s most cutting-edge advancements, tools, materials, and processes in one central location, offering a first-hand preview of the technologies that will help move the industry forward.
“The ‘Made For You’ theme and the 7 Technology Zones perfectly encapsulate what makes NPE2024 such an exciting showcase of the plastics industry,” said Glenn Anderson, PLASTICS Chief Operating Officer. “We’re developing a series of programs that connect exhibitors, attendees, and buyers in specific sectors that most align with their individual business priorities, enabling them to maximize their time at the trade show and build relationships with like-minded NPE participants from across the supply chain.”
Some of the highly anticipated Technology Zones to be featured at NPE2024 are:
Bottle Zone
Back after its successful debut at NPE2018, the Bottle Zone offers a comprehensive look at one of the most important industry sectors, spotlighting innovations, technologies, and solutions for the beverage bottling and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) market. In this zone, attendees will find companies focused on plastic bottle design, machinery, and processes that are pushing the marketplace forward.
Advanced Manufacturing Zone
The Advanced Manufacturing Zone features suppliers, designers, engineers and software providers across the entire plastics materials and manufacturing supply chain. From 3D/4D printing to robots, cobots, end-of-arm tooling, and systems integration services—the latest in automation technology and innovation will be on full display.
Recycling and Sustainability Zone
The Recycling & Sustainability Zone will offer an up-close look at the most innovative end-market solutions, bioplastics, and light weighting tactics that are improving sustainability and advancing life-cycle circularity in plastic products. The zone will examine all of the industry’s most pressing recycling topics: chemical versus mechanical recycling, improving bottle-to-bottle processes, closed loop recyclability, and applying ocean plastics in manufacturing.
In February 2023, PLASTICS will hold the show’s Space Draw for exhibit space selection, and attendee registration will open in May 2023. NPE2024 returns to the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida from May 6-10, 2024.
