Made for Giving Back
Wednesday, May 8 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Room W208C
Join us as we package 20,000 meals to be donated to local Orlando communities! In partnership with U.S. Hunger, The Hunger Project will mark NPE’s first-ever community service event, and we’re excited to provide the opportunity for industry professionals to volunteer and give back to the local community.
With eight assembly lines, 80-120 volunteers can be packaging meals at any given time, so come and go as is convenient for your schedule — stay for 10 to 15 minutes, or volunteer for the full four hours and anywhere in between. We will be packaging a red lentil jambalaya meal with an initial goal of packaging 20,000 meals.
If you aren’t able to volunteer but would still like to give back, you can make a donation to the PLASTICS fundraising page. Any donation made through the fundraising link will directly support the NPE2024 Hunger Project and its impact.
