Before You Arrive
A few things must be completed before you can take part in Space Selection & Planning.
1. Apply for Booth Space
Don’t worry – if you missed the December 3 deadline, you’re still eligible. Late applicants are added to their group based on their show history and deposit date. That means the sooner you apply, the sooner you can be added to your group!
2. Register for Space Selection
To attend Space Selection & Planning in person, you must complete a free registration. After the lottery results are posted on December 16, you’ll learn your company’s position in the onsite selection order for March, helping you identify the dates you’ll need to be present.
3. Book Your Hotel
Make the most of your Space Selection experience by staying at Rosen Plaza, the official hotel, just a short walk from the Orange County Convention Center.
Enjoy an exclusive discount rate when you book your room. The last day to secure your discounted rate or modify your travel plans is Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
The Onsite Experience
Space Selection is a fast, structured, and highly efficient process designed to help exhibitors make confident decisions.
Here’s what your team can expect:
- Check in at the registration desk
- Monitor the live update screens showing companies being called
- Head to the stage when your appointment group is announced
- Finalize your booth choice within your five-minute window
- Select your booth space and see it populate on the live floor plan

How to Arrive Prepared
A few simple actions help your team make the most of the week:
- Review hall maps and outline your preferred booth options. (2024 Floor Plan; 2027 Floor Plan Coming January 2026)
- Bring decision-makers who can confirm booth size and budget.
- Save time for vendor consultations and Convention Center Campus tours.
- Review current travel advisories, visa requirements, and entry restrictions before departure.
- Come with questions for NPE staff and vendors.

Unable to attend? You have options.
If a representative isn’t present when your group is called, a booth will be selected on your behalf, so your company maintains its place in the order. There are three alternative ways to have your booth space selected:
- Concierge Program (Recommended): Pair your company with a dedicated NPE representative to support your booth selection process.
- Non-Company Representative: Select a third-party representative who can be present in-person for the booth selection process and can act on your behalf.
- NPE Show Management Selection: During Space Selection, NPE staff will select your booth space for you.

Daily briefings are one of the most valuable parts of the Space Selection experience. These morning sessions offer a clear snapshot of everything exhibitors need to stay aligned.
After the briefing, guided Convention Center Campus tours help you get familiar with the OCCC. You’ll get a clear sense of where your team and customers will spend their time in 2027, making booth design, staffing, and visitor engagement planning easier.
